A mountain rescue team were called out to a walker who had slipped on steep ground.
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team attended High Stile on Wednesday night after a walker suffered a wrist injury.
Both red and blue teams were mobilised to the scene.
The volunteers stretchered the woman down from the mountain.
Several people gave thanks for the efforts of the teams on the mountain rescue team's Facebook page.
Paul Stewart posted: "Well done all."
Commenting on the equipment used in the rescue was Julie Stein.
She said: "Those lights are amazing, well done all."
Meanwhile, Catherine Massingham-Hughes posted: "Well done all.
"Stay safe."
The team were also called out on October 28 to the shore of Crummock Water.
A woman had injured her ankle and was in need of rescuing.
