A SUPERMARKET is urgently recalling one of their ice cream products because of ingredients on the label that are not mentioned in English.

Iceland has been forced to recall Twix Barres Glacees, Twix Ice-Cream Bars, because they contain milk, wheat and soya that are not mentioned in English on the label.

They also may contain almonds, hazelnuts and peanuts.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts, soya, and an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten and milk or milk constituents.

The product that is being recalled is a pack size of 18 with a best before date of June 30, 2021.

The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. If you have bought the product and have an allergy or intolerance to any of the ingredients then do not consume it, instead return it to the store it was purchased for a full refund.
