A VILLAGE hall has been left with nowhere to put its own garden waste after a member of the public had filled the hall’s bins with their own waste.
A committee member and the caretaker for Thursby Parish Hall are reminding people they should not fill the hall’s bins without permission.
The extra waste has left the team at the hall struggling to dispose of the waste from the hall.
Posted yesterday it read: “A hall committee member and the caretaker have just been down to the Parish Hall to do some garden clearing for the garden bin collection, only to find that someone has filled all the garden bins.
“Would parishioners please remember that the hall garden bins are for the hall use only and not for the public.”
The team reminds villagers that if they need an extra garden bin and would like to know if a hall bin is available, they should call the village hall secretary Peg to check on 01228 710101.
