A building society branch has been forced to shut due to a case of Covid-19.
The Cumberland Building Society in Maryport has closed temporarily due to an instance of the virus.
In line with government guidelines, employees from the branch are now self-isolating.
A spokesman for the Cumberland Building Society said: "Unfortunately, this situation has resulted in us having to temporarily close the branch on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 February. We apologise to customers affected by this.
"We are working closely with our Occupational Health Adviser and Allerdale Council to ensure all guidance is adhered to and the branch is deep cleaned and safe for a replacement team to re-open.
"We’d like to thank our customers for their understanding.
"The health, safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, customers and their families is a key priority for us.
"Please be assured that we are following all the advice given by the authorities in dealing with this situation."
The branch is due to re-open on Monday.
