Firefighters were called out to a roof fire in Penrith.
Crews from Cumbria Fire and Rescue were called to put out the blaze on Elm Terrace in the town.
It happened at about 3.20pm on Sunday.
Two fire engines attended the incident, which involved tiles from the roof of a domestic property.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet, one breathing apparatus and a nine-metre ladder to put out the fire.
They were on the scene for nearly two and a half hours.
