A CARLISLE woman has been given a curfew for assaulting a stranger.
Emma Henderson, 31, attacked the woman in Carlisle on October 3 last year, the city's Rickergate court heard.
She originally denied wrongdoing but changed her plea to guilty. Magistrates imposed a community order, with a 10 week curfew to run from 7pm to 7am.
The defendant, of Nelson Bridge Court, must also pay her victim £30 compensation as well as costs of £200 and a £95 victim surcharge.
There was no restraining order made as Henderson - represented by defence lawyer Anthony Wilson - does not know the victim.
Kelly Sewell, 28, of Cavaghan Gardens, admitted threatening the same victim. She was fined £80 and told to pay the woman involved £20 compensation, and £85 costs.
