PLANS have been submitted to convert a bed & breakfast in the county into a family home.
Eden District Council has received proposals to change the bed and breakfast, and self contained flat, at Primrose Cottage, Orton Road, Tebay, earlier this month.
The applicant is listed as James Haydock at the same address.
According to the application form: “The property is for sale and the buyer wants to use it for residential use, for him and his family.
“His mortgage is dependent on it being a residential property.”
The public consultation for the plans is ongoing and ends on June 7.
The flat in the property had previously been given planning permission in 1996.
