A MOTORING event is preparing to return to one of Cumbria’s most historic venues this Father’s Day.
Hutton-in-the-Forest will host the Father’s Day Classic Car Spectacular on June 20, organised by Mark Woodward.
The date will mark the relaunch of the 2021 classic car show season.
Mr Woodward said: “Father’s Day is an important milestone to celebrate families being able to meet up and enjoy days out together.
“With acres of outdoor space to allow comfortable strolling in the fresh air, we’re thrilled to return to Lord and Lady Inglewood’s magnificent home, after the toughest 15 months for event organisers and traders.”
The day will be packed with motoring history and heritage, from classic cars, motorcycles, trucks, farm and army vehicles, to kit and custom curiosities, plus arena shows, displays, trade stands and autojumble bargains.
There will be full access to the grounds and visitors are welcome to bring their own classic car – and well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed in the park too.
Adult tickets are £7.50, or free for accompanied children aged 15 and under. To comply with guidelines, tickets should be pre-booked through www.markwoodwardclassicevents.com. If paying on the day, please use cash and correct money only.
