A MAN has been handed a community order after he admitted sending offensive Facebook comments.
Paul Ford, 52, of Oaklands Drive, Carlisle, appeared at the city's magistrates court on Monday.
He was accused of sending obscene and derogatory comments on Facebook on June 8 at Carlisle.
Ford pleaded guilty to the charge, and was handed a community order by magistrates. As part of the order, he participate in an accredited programme for a period of 30 days.
