A FINALIST has been announced in the Good Spa Awards 2021 and it is a Cumbrian luxury getaway.
Armathwaite Hall, the Lake District’s luxury hotel & spa set within 400 acres of private woodland and deer park on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake near Keswick, is a finalist in the Good Spa Awards 2021 for the Best Countryside Getaway.
These highly regarded awards celebrate and highlight spa industry excellence from across the UK, focusing on a range of categories including countryside getaways, eco credentials, holistic practices and coastal locations.
The category Best Countryside Getaway, sponsored by luxury skincare brand, NaturaBisse, focuses on spas which provide guests with peace and quiet, stunning views and plentiful relaxation spots.
Just ten spas have reached the finals.
Making the most of the idyllic countryside location and close proximity to Bassenthwaite Lake, Armathwaite Hall has expanded its spa offering with exclusive wellness and leisure activity experiences including Forest Bathing with local expert guides, Delyth Johnson and Jen Grange, along with Wild Swimming, with coach Ali Phillips.
General manager, Simon Steele said: “We are privileged to be recognised in the Best Countryside Getaway category. We truly believe in providing our guests with an unparalleled experience and are delighted to be a finalist in these prestigious awards.
“Over the years our team have been working hard to deliver a range of wellness experiences suitable for all the family, both within the grounds of Armathwaite Hall and partnering with third-party organisations to broaden our offerings and create an all-round wellbeing destination.”
