A MOTORIST has been handed a large fine after he was caught at almost 20mph over a speed limit.
Lukasz Zaskorski, 28, of Wastwater Avenue in Workington, appeared at Carlisle Magistrates Court on Thursday.
He denied a charge of speeding, where he was accused of hitting 68mph in a temporary 50 zone on the M6 at Carlisle.
Zaskorski was found guilty, and fined £259, given four points on his license, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and £110 costs.
