A WEST Cumbria woman bought a family holiday using another person’s credit card without their knowledge, and committed a string of other frauds in her name.
Paula Crickett, 49, admitted a total of 16 fraud charges when she appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
The fraud offences involve Crickett, of Pearl Road, Salterbeck, making a host of false representations through a variety of different means over a period of many months.
One charge admitted by Crickett states that she purchased a family holiday from an online website called “On The Beach”.
Another count she accepted reveals that she made purchases from a number of outlets, including Sports Direct and ASDA.
Her crimes were committed during a period of just over year, between mid-March, 2018, and early May, 2019.
The fraud is said to run into several thousand pounds, and been committed against a “vulnerable victim”.
She will be sentenced on August 13.
