Police are appealing for information following two incidents of sheep theft reported to police in two days in North Cumbria
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "On 20th July police received a report of 81 Glimmer Hoggs and 21 Ewes missing from the Garrigill, Alston area.
"The sheep were out taken out to the fells on 16th April and brought in at the beginning of July.
"On 19th July police received a report of 34 missing sheep in the Garrigill area.
"The sheep have gone missing between March and 5th July.
"Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit , quoting incident number 84 of 20th or 162 of 19th July 2021.
"You can also phone on 101.
"Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
