Former Carlisle United frontman Shaun Miller has made a pre-season appearance for a non-league side after his League Two release.
The striker turned out for Northern Premier outfit Nantwich Town in a friendly against Altrincham.
Miller came close to scoring in the first half before Nantwich were beaten 3-0.
It followed an earlier outing against Whitchurch Alport.
His outing for the Dabbers, in his native Cheshire, followed the 33-year-old's release by promoted Bolton at the end of last season.
The experienced forward, who was with United from 2016-18, made 24 appearances last season for the Trotters, mostly from the bench, and scored four goals.
Striker Miller, 33, hit 14 goals in his two campaigns with the Cumbrians after joining from Morecambe.
The ex-Crewe man went on to rejoin the Railwaymen before a second stint with Morecambe, ahead of his switch to Bolton at the start of last season.
Miller's time at United saw some memorrable goals, including an equalising header in the 2016/17 play-off semi-final first leg against Exeter, and a stunning overhead volley against Barnet the following season, which was voted League Two's goal of the month and Carlisle's goal of the season.
