Former Carlisle United forward Harry McKirdy is set to face the Blues early in the new season after signing for Swindon.
The frontman has agreed a deal with the Robins after a spell on trial with the club.
It will pit McKirdy against his former club on the second weekend of the 2021/22 campaign when Carlisle go to the County Ground on August 14.
The 24-year-old, who was with Port Vale last season, has signed an initial one-year deal with Swindon.
Their director of football Ben Chorley said on the club website: "Harry has worked very hard over the last few weeks with us.
"His attitude in both training and across all three pre-season games has been fantastic.
"Harry has a wealth of experience in League One and Two, and he can play many different roles within our team.
"We look forward to working with Harry and wish him all the best during this upcoming season."
McKirdy was United's 11-goal top scorer in 38 appearances in the 2019/20 season before being released that summer.
He then struggled for first-team opportunities at Vale after last summer's move.
But the ex-Aston Villa man now joins newly-relegated Swindon as they rebuild following a recent takeover, which saw Clem Morfuni claim control of the club from Lee Power.
