Former Carlisle United frontman Shaun Miller has joined a club in the Northern Premier League.
The 33-year-old striker has agreed a move to Nantwich Town.
It sees Miller drop into non-league in his native Cheshire following his release by League One new boys Bolton at the end of last season.
The experienced forward, who was with United from 2016-18, has featured for Nantwich in pre-season.
Their manager Dave Cooke said: “We actually spoke to Shaun last season, but he was offered a Football League contract which he took, so it’s nice to finally get him signed.
"We’re delighted that he’s joined, he brings a wealth of experience to the side which is invaluable at this level.
"He’s scored a lot of goals in the Football League and he’s a local lad, which will certainly mean that the fans will get behind in on match-days."
Ex-Crewe, Sheffield United and Coventry player Miller hit 14 goals in his two campaigns with the Cumbrians after joining from Morecambe.
His time at United saw some memorable moments, including an equalising header in the 2016/17 play-off semi-final first leg against Exeter, and a brilliant overhead volley against Barnet the following season, which was voted League Two's goal of the month and Carlisle's goal of the season.
