Aaron Hayden made his first appearance for Wrexham since his move from Carlisle United.
The centre-half played the full 90 minutes for the Red Dragons in their pre-season friendly against Curzon Ashton.
Hayden's first outing at the Racecourse Ground saw Phil Parkinson's side win 3-1 on Saturday.
It was Hayden's first chance to nail down a place in the side for the start of the National League season when Wrexham go to Solihull Moors this weekend.
The 24-year-old's debut outing for the Red Dragons came a week after his move from Carlisle on a three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.
Hayden, who has been handed the No5 shirt by his new club, played on the right of a back three in front of 2,359 fans as Paul Mullin, Cameron Green and Dior Angus got the home side's goals, Dominic Knowles replying for the National League North opponents.
Parkinson said afterwards: "It was a good test. We started slowly, they were a little bit sharper in the early exchanges, but we gradually got into rhythm in the game."
