A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital after slipping and injuring his knee whilst out on a walk with his family between Seathwaite and Taylor Gill Force.
Keswick Mountain Rescue were called out at 13.48 to assess and stretcher the boy to Seathwaite near Gatesgarth on August 15.
It was the boy's father who called for assistance from a public phone box as there was no mobile phone reception in the area.
The casualty was taken to hospital by his parents for further checks.
