As the last bank holiday before the summer holidays end approaches, many of us will be hoping for some last days of sunshine to spend our days off.
And it looks like we’re in luck, as Met Office are forecasting highs of 20 degrees across the weekend.
Friday in Carlisle is showing highs of 20 degrees and sunshine, with lows of 8 degrees only appearing in the early hours.
The nice weather improves into Saturday, as highs of 22 degrees peak late afternoon, with less than 5% chance of rain its looking like it’ll be a rain free weekend.
Sunday improves again, highs of 23 degrees are forecasted as the bank holiday is in full swing. Again, with little to no chance of rain it will be safe to take out the BBQ’s this weekend in Cumbria
To close of the bank holiday, the temperature dips a little on Monday, but still remaining a respectable 20 degrees and another dry day before normal service resumes.
