HERE is an update on the latest traffic and travel news in north Cumbria.
There is heavy traffic on the A595 Egremont Bypass Southbound from the A5086 (Cleator Moor turn-off).
Travel time is around 10 minutes.
In Harrington, the A597 both ways is closed due to roadworks between Salterbeck Drive and Rectory Close (St Mary's Church).
Station Road both ways is closed in Aspatria due to roadworks between A596 West Street and the Rowland Hill turn-off.
In Carlisle, Etterby Street Eastbound is closed due to gas main work from Eden Place to A7 Stanwix Bank (The Crown Pub).
