Tribe Carlisle has teamed up with the British Cycling Federation to offer a Go-Ride Come and Try Zone to celebrate The Tour of Britain.
The Tour of Britain will be passing through Carlisle on Friday 10th September.
Kids and adults will have the opportunity to put their own cycle skills to the test with the support of British Cycling’s Go-Ride Coaches on their pop-up course and find out more about local opportunities to get involved.
There will be a limited number of bikes provided, but people are welcome to bring their own.
Lead Cycling Delivery Manager at British Cycling, Robert Pickering, said: “British Cycling NW is delighted to be able to support the Tour of Britain in Carlisle working with Tribe to deliver Go-Ride cycling activities at the stage 6 start.
"We’ll have a small cycling course set up for everyone to have a go supported by our own qualified staff. You don’t even need your own bike as we can lend you one!"
Food, Coffee, and Snacks will also be available at Tribe from 9am.
Entry is free, and all ages are welcome.
The Tour of Britain starting point in Carlisle will be in the Carpark by Carlisle Castle
