A YOUNG Keswick man must do 40 hours of unpaid work after he admitted two assaults and resisting a police constable.
Cameron Bland, 21, whose address was given in court as Rosthwaite, committed the offences over two days, on July 2 and 3, Workington's Magistrates' Court was told.
The two common assaults were committed first - at the Scafell Hotel in Rosthwaite against a man and a woman; and the resisting a constable offence in the execution of his duty came the following day in Cockermouth.
Magistrates imposed a community order.
It includes both the unpaid work element and a requirement to participate in up to five days of activity as directed by the Probation Service.
Bland, who was represented by defence lawyer John Cooper, must also pay compensation of £100 to each of his victim and prosecution costs of £85 an a £95 victim surcharge.
He owes a total of £380 to the court and must settle the debt by September 28.
