A major chain is set to open a new branch in Cumbria, creating seven jobs.
Toolstation, which supplies trade and DIY products, will open its new store on the Clay Flatts Industrial Estate in Workington on Monday.
Store manager Richard Gollins said: “We are pleased to be opening the new store and supporting local tradespeople, DIYers and home builders with tools and more in Workington.
“We recognise the importance of challenging times and our knowledgeable team are committed to providing local customers with a reliable and convenient service for the essentials they need to tackle any task.”
The shop will be open every day from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm Saturday and 9am to 4pm Sunday.
Toolstation recently opened its 500th UK branch in Surrey and is aiming to have 60 new branches opened by end of the year, creating more than 450 jobs.
Customers will be able to try out a new app allowing them to find and order from thousands of products, see real-time stock availability and choose to click and collect from five minutes or have items delivered.
Trade Credit customers can manage their accounts on the go, pay for orders, check their credit account, pay balances and download invoices.
