Police are asking for help after a crash on the A66.
A man has been left with facial injuries and another remains in hospital with back injuries after the crash on Tuesday. Police are now reaching out to the public for dashcam footage.
A spokesman for the police said: "We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact officers following a collision on the A66 at Whinfell.
"It happened at about 6.10am on Tuesday and involved a black Volvo V40 and a blue Ford B-Max.
"The driver of the Volvo – a man, in their twenties, from the Nottinghamshire area - is currently in the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle with facial injuries.
"The Ford driver – a man, in their fifties, from the Appleby area – is in the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle after suffering a back injury."
