A COMMUNITY order and four week curfew have been imposed on a Cleator Moor man after he admitted two driving offences.
Robert Michael Armstrong, 48, of Victoria Street, drove without being insured and while disqualified, Workington Magistrates' Court was told. He admitted both offences.
The court heard that he was caught driving a Suzuki Wagon in Greenwood Avenue, High Harrington, Workington, on December 22 last year.
Magistrates said his curfew will be for four weeks and will run each day from 7pm to 7am. Armstrong, who was represented by defence lawyer John Cooper, must also pay £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge. His driving record was endorsed and his guilty plea was taken into account.
He will be allowed to settle his £180 debt to the court at a rate of £20 per month.
