What happens when two of the UK’s biggest rock bands from the 70’s come together for a two-hour performance?
Music lovers of Penrith will soon find out as 10CCLO, a tribute act that perform songs from both 10CC and Electric Light Orchestra will take to the stage at the Penrith Playhouse on Saturday 30th.
The group have been around in some form for over 20 years and have been performing as a tribute act to both the Jeff Lynne and Graham Gouldman-led bands since 2015.
The songs of 10CC and ELO are rock classics that over the passing decades have remained in the hearts of millions of fans, and in the hearts of the musicians that make up the only tribute band in the world that dedicate themselves to these two incredible bands with songs from the last four decades.
The act don’t dress up or put on wigs to look like the original artists, but bring the musical quality of both bands to life with hit after hit.
With songs like ‘Mr Blue Sky’, ‘Dreadlock Holiday’, ‘Livin’ Thing’ and ‘I’m Not in Love’, the evening is making out to be a “must be there” event.
