Fans of The Flying Scotsman in Cumbria are in luck this week as the famous steam train will be passing through Carlisle, alongside the Tornado.
The express passenger train service will arrive in Carlisle on Wednesday October 20 and will travel through the Eden Valley, Appleby, and the climb up to Ais Gill Summit.
It will then travel through to Preston where it will disconnect at 8:30pm.
The same journey will occur on Thursday October 21, but in reverse. The Flying Scotsman will depart from Preston and travel to Carlisle where it will spend some time. The Tornado will then be leading the passage for the return journey.
The Flying Scotsman will also be back in Cumbria on October 27 as it travels from Carlisle to Middlesbrough.
Where else is The Flying Scotsman this year?
The Flying Scotsman travels all over and there are several more opportunities to see it this year.
On October 28 The Flying Scotsman will be in York, leaving at 9:30am. It will go from Church Fenton and Garforth to get to Leeds.
From there it will pass through Skipton, past the Settle Junction and then up to Carlisle once again.
On November 27 it will pick up carriages in Hellifield to head up to Carlisle for a return trip.
