A BRAMPTON woman has been fined and given points on her licence after she admitted being in charge of a car while over the limit for a cannabis breakdown product.
Zoe Naomi Stott, 26, of Dacre Road, was originally charged with drug driving but the prosecution accepted her plea to the less serious offence of being in charge of her vehicle while over the limit for the cannabis breakdown product benzoylecgonine.
She committed the offence in Well Meadow, Brampton. She committed the offence on December 31 last year while in a Ford Fiesta in Brampton, Carlisle's Rickergate court was told.
She was fined £230, with £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge. The district judge in court put 10 points on her driving licence, meaning that she can continue to drive.
