A business in Cumbria is doing its bit to support the Poppy Appeal launched again this year by the Royal British Legion.
Cranston's Butchers which is based in Penrith and Carlisle are selling Poppy merchandise outside their Cumbrian Food Hall.
The money raised will go towards supporting those who have served in the Armed Forces and has been organised by one of their own members of staff.
A spokesperson from Cranston's Butchers said: "The lovely Dave Green, Cranston's delivery driver and ex RAF Warrant Officer has been selling poppies and lots of quality poppy merchandise at our Cumbrian Food Hall over the last few days to raise money for the Royal British Legion poppy appeal.
"Over the years Dave has raised over £10,000 dedicating his spare time to supporting this amazing cause.
"Dave will be outside Cumbrian Food Hall right up until Remembrance Day for those of you who wish to make a donation."
Dave and the rest of the team at this business have given their upmost support for this cause over the years and are doing their best to raise essential funds.
