APPEARANCE: Sellafield will appear on the BBC Two series on Sunday
Sellafield is set to feature on a popular television series this weekend.
The plant will feature on the BBC Two series The Lakes with Simon Reeve at 9pm on Sunday.
The presenter and documentary-maker’s latest series features a range of sights and stories from the region, but no story of Cumbria would be complete without a look at the unique and fascinating site.
Simon and his crew visited Sellafield in July where he toured the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, separation area and the Windscale Advanced Gas-cooled Reactor Box Store.
