A Cumbrian football club have released an update on one of their young players who collapsed during a game yesterday.
Carlisle City's Bobby Dixon collapsed in the early stages of a Cumberland County League game against Gosforth at Gillford Park.
The club's development squad player was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary for tests.
He was later allowed to return home, and City say heart tests have come back clear.
The Carlisle club said that, "after walking towards the dug-out in obvious discomfort, it soon became apparent there was a problem.
"We do have a defibrillator at Gillford Park and that was urgently brought to hand but thankfully did not have to be used.
We have all had a scare this afternoon when Bobby Dixon collapsed on the field.

He is having tests in hospital but it looks positive so far. Many thanks to all who helped including the reaction from Gosforth players
Get well soon Bobby
"An ambulance was not able to respond quickly so Bobby was taken by car to the Cumberland Infirmary, where he has undergone tests and he was allowed to go home last night.
"We thank everyone for their assistance, with special thanks to the Gosforth players who responded admirably to what was happening."
Players agreed to continue the game, which City won 2-1.
