Residents of Allerdale who are thinking of taking on a new challenge in 2022 have the opportunity to sample walking netball sessions.
In association with England Netball, Workington Leisure Club will host free taster classes over the next three Tuesdays in January.
Walking netball is a slowed down version of the sport, designed for anyone looking to exercise in a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. Women across the length of the country have started playing walking netball for the fun, laughter and camaraderie the social session brings, as much as the health benefits on offer.
The taster sessions will run on the 11th, 18th and 25th from 10-11am. To book your place contact Janine.walsham@englandnetball.co.uk or book through the Leisure Centre.
