DURING the dreaded years of 2020 and 2021, one of the key things that most people missed was gigs and festivals.
But 2022 seems to bit brighter in terms of Covid and gigs now thankfully, so here are a few of the bigger names that are coming to play in Carlisle.
Tom Jones The legend that is Tom Jones, who is still going as strong as ever at 81 years of age. He’s playing his most popular hits at Bitts Park on July 24, which he says he's ‘delighted’ to play.
Tom had been due to play this event back in 2021, but was postponed because of Covid-19 concerns. But this year we can finally see the star perform.
Olly Murs Olly Murs is another artist who had their show postponed because of Covid, but in 2022 he’s back on Friday, July 22 at Britts Park, on the same weekend as Mr Jones himself.
Paul Weller The iconic modfather Paul Weller is playing his most famous tracks at the Sands Centre on April 19. With his last tour being in 2017, we expect this venue to sell out in a flash, so hurry to get your hands on some tickets!
Paloma Faith Paloma Faith released her debut album in 2009 and been making hit after hit with her unique style of singing. Fans of Paloma can buy tickets to see her at Bitts Park on July 27 this year.
