WE'VE been looking back almost 50 years this week to 1975.
Were you in the sixth form at Carlisle’s Trinity School’s sixth form then? If so you might remember their 'panto with a difference'.
Our photographer seemed to be mightily confused asking where ugly sisters Peter Stonebridge and Adrian Roberts and undertaker John Weaver and Long John Silver and his shadow, played by Christine Anderson and Sian Henderson, fitted into the tale of Snow White.
Meanwhile a younger member of the school, sports all-rounder Mike Hargreaves, was busy playing rugby and football for his school; training with Border Harriers and representing the county at football.
And who remembers the children’s TV programme Magpie? Pupils at Cockermouth’s Fairfield School had been busy raising money for the programme’s annual appeal.
