COPELAND MP Trudy Harrison is encouraging people within the constituency to enter into this years Parliament awards- highlighting those who have made a difference in their communities.
Mrs Harrison said: "I am encouraging Copeland constituents to consider entering the UK Parliament Awards, which recognise the fantastic individuals who have made a difference in our communities and beyond.
"If you’ve made a difference in your community or helped to promote democracy, you could be in the running for a UK Parliament Award."
There are six categories and entries can be made via a short application form before the January 31 deadline:
- Community Campaign of the Year
- Digital Campaign or Campaigner of the Year
- School of the Year
- Teacher of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- UK Parliament Week Activity of the Year
