More than 250 customers are currently being affected by a power cut in Cumbria according to Electricity North West.
The company has said the first problem was reported at around 6.40pm on February 16 and more than 256 customers are impacted.
On the website, Electricity North West said: "This power cut has been caused by an unexpected incident on the high voltage cable that provides electricity to your home or business.
"We didn't know before your electricity went off that this was going to happen but now we know, rest assured we will get your power back on safely and as quickly as possible."
We have a number of incidents across the network which have been caused by the strong winds this afternoon.

When will it be fixed?
The company has estimated that the power will be restored between 8pm and 9pm on February 16, although it hopes to do it sooner.
The guidance issued says: "Please be aware that all our time scales are estimated based on previous experience and may change if new information becomes available while our engineers are fixing the issue.
