Following a Santa Sleigh tour, thousands of pounds have been raised for charity.
Three rotary clubs (Brampton and Longtown, Carlisle Castle, and Carlisle), as well as other organisers, hired the sleigh to tour several locations in the fortnight leading up to the festive season last year.
The sleigh is owned by the Rotary Club of Carlisle Castle.
The club President, Andy McKay, said: "This is a fantastic example of the clubs working with each other and with other community organisations.
"The smiles on people’s faces when they see Santa and the sleigh make it all worthwhile - especially as we couldn’t take the sleigh out in 2020.
"The generosity of people is wonderful - especially during these difficult times.
"We actually raised far more than we did the last time the sleigh was out in 2019.
"The money raised will benefit so many causes locally and further afield.
"The club would like to especially thank Kingmoor Park for allowing them to store the sleigh there free of charge."
Charities currently supported by the clubs through all their fundraising activities - although this does not mean all these charities will receive money from the sleigh - include Hospice at Home, North Cumbria Rescue and Response, Safetynet, Cumbria Community Foundation’s Winter Warmth campaign, Eden Valley Hospice and international Rotary projects including the fight against polio.
