CARLISLE MP John Stevenson has been forced to withdraw from face-to-face meetings after testing positive for coronavirus.

The Conservative MP was invited for a tour round the city's businesses on Friday, March 11, however he has been forced to work from home after falling ill.

A spokesperson for Mr Stevenson said: "He’s extremely active on email this morning, but other than that he is doing the meetings he can by Zoom or telephone call from home."
