A special remembrance service will be held for families, friends, and carers of children who have passed away.
The ‘Forget Me Not Remembrance Day’ service will take place at Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice in Durdar Road, Carlisle, on Saturday, March 26, between 11am and 12pm.
During the event there will be music from Israel Kamakawiwo'ole played, readings of two poems and refreshments.
Wendy Ashton, Family Support Team Lead at the hospice, said: “This service will be a chance for people to take a moment, reflect and remember those lives that have been lost but whose memories are still extra special to the loved ones they left behind."
