OUR business in focus this week is a company which is both making dough and is fresh to the market, having only been operational for one month.
Love Pizza isn't an ordinary high street food outlet however, setting itself apart by being housed within a shipping container in the cultural and creative courtyard in Bitts Park - Tribe Carlisle.
Sara Budniak, alongside artist Jane Hetherington, both ventured out to start their own street-food pizzeria together, specialising in tasty stone-baked pizzas and slices.
The newly-established street-food business operates seven days a week out of the full-of-energy, multi-purpose venue.
"Everyone loves pizza, so it was the automatic go to," Sara said.
She left her career in criminal law to pursue this new exhilarating challenge.
"I've eaten thousands of pizzas over the years, I remember my dad taking us to Gianni's Pizzeria when we were little, that was the first restaurant I went to.
"So I know what an ideal pizza should taste like," she said.
The business prides itself on making everything from 'fresh', from the hand rolled pizza dough all the way to the carefully crafted tomato topping - allowing for customers to order by the slice or full pizza.
The dog-friendly venue caters to both Sara's and Jane's love for their four-legged friends (who often join them on the site) and dance music, making for a perfect cocktail of a bubbly working atmosphere.
In terms of pizza quality, the street-food container has nailed the tasty fundamentals by bringing in a portable wood-fired pizza oven and by placing precedent on optimum dough quality.
"You've really got to prepare for what the demand is going to be on the day, and there's been days we've ran out - it can quite stressful making the pizzas to order, especially when there's a queue.
"But saying that, Jane and I both love cooking and being at Tribe is perfect for us, it's such a dog-friendly place and everyone we have met so far has been incredibly nice, it's a really nice place to be" she said.
Sara said if all things go to plan, the long-term plan is to buy a van and tour the business around festivals.
"That would also give us the opportunity to go and see loads of live music as well, that's the dream," she said.
