A MAN has appeared in court after stealing protein powder, styling tongs and washing products from a budget store.
Mark Little, 27, of Peart Road, Maryport, pleaded guilty to three charges of theft from a shop.
He appeared at Workington Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The defendant stole curling tongs, whey protein and a Revolution party set from B&M in Maryport on February 14.
The items were valued at £16.98.
He then stole eight bottles of Comfort worth £23.92 from the store on March 7. Two days later, he stole washing powder pods worth £19.98.
Little was fined £40 and must pay £60.88 in compensation to B&M.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
