A NEW author has been penned their latest creation whilst living in Carlisle. 

23-year-old author CEON's first novel, The Condition Impervious, is a supernatural thriller following an LGBTQIA+ protagonist.

CEON is currently in the process of writing her next two novels, despite only having the first released yesterday (March 28).

"This story will send your head spinning, and keep you guessing all the way.

"Eden Dyson’s life is turned upside down by a series of events, one after the other; some are explainable. Most, not so much.

"It begins with Eden visiting her wife in the hospital, and then inexplicably losing four days of her life after a strange and fearful occurrence.

"Following her through her journey of trying to figure out what’s happening turns into a whirlwind of horror after horror; suffering loss, pain, love, danger, hiding, being on the run and accidentally committing crimes," they said. 

CEON has been previously published in magazines for poetry and life stories. 

The distinctive cover art also comes from another Carlisle creative, Elinor Prescott.
