A Cumbrian born marketing and PR agency celebrated their second year of trading on Thursday.

On March,31 The Peddler in Whitehaven was transformed into a Champagne fuelled red carpet soiree, as Platinum Live celebrated their second year of trading.

Guests were greeted by the very talented Jennifer Street who showcased her fire artistry talents followed by a champagne reception and a two-course meal, guests were also entertained by Cory & Stu, a live acoustic duo.

Managing Director, Oliver Hodgson said: “It was a great privilege to welcome such an eclectic mix of people to the Peddler. The evening was a perfect way to celebrate our clients, our friends, our success and a collective glass was raised to future success and growth for one and all, it was fun.

“We had guests travel from the length and breadth of the country to attend and it was of course great to catch up with those we’ve only seen over a Zoom call!”

Hodgson launched Platinum Live a week into the UK’s first Coronavirus lockdown, with only £25 to his name, spending half on the companies’ house registration. The firm has offices in the newly refurbished Bus Station in Whitehaven and have an enviable portfolio of clients.

Oliver added: “Exactly two years ago Platinum Live launched, and what two years it has been! We have had the honour of working with some fantastic brands, people and SMEs from across the country, I personally really enjoy working with firms who align with how we work and how we do things - cool people doing cool things!

“It was important to us to get together with one another, celebrate life, living, mutual success and Cumbria.

“A great big thank you to our production crew Lee and Shelbi who worked day and night to get the production perfect, and to our event team, Cheryl, Andrea, Mike, and Caroline. The Peddler was a marvellous venue and provided excellent hospitality.”
