Man in 20's dies after crash involving a lorry and a van on the A66
A MAN in his 20s has died after a crash between a lorry and car near to Warcop.
Emergency services were called at 3.18pm on Saturday, April 9 following a report of a collision involving a car and a lorry on the A66, near Warcop.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, medics and passers-by, the driver of the car – a man in his 20s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The lorry driver was not injured.
Investigations are underway into the collision.
