ROCKO
Meet handsome Rocko! He may be big but don't let his size put you off as he is a super-friendly, gentle giant who loves everyone.
Rocko came in with Jess (see her separate profile) and we would potentially home them together to the right home but we are also looking at separate homes for them too.
This softy would make a great companion for someone who works from home or is able to take a furry friend to their office as he will happily chill with you (as long as he gets a few cuddles in between!).
Rocko is housetrained and can be left for periods of up to 3-4 hours but this would need to be gradually introduced until he settles into a new environment.
He has recently met children from the age of 2 years upwards and seemed happy in their company so we would consider a home with children of that age.
Rocko is a big lad weighing almost 60kg and generally can walk quite nicely on the lead. However, he can have his moments of excitement when out on walks so any potential owner will need to be able to manage strong dogs.
On lazier days though he is happy to potter round a secure garden.
He could potentially live with a suitably matched dog but this would be reviewed on a case by case basis and depend on successful meetings.
WHISKY
Say a gentle hello to Whisky. She is looking for a very special home.
Whisky is nearly 15 years old and, in her previous life, she had some sort of accident and had one of her hind legs amputated, as well as part of her tail.
She gets along just fine but will be looking for a relaxing home without too many obstacles to get around.
Whisky has been kept indoors but we are sure she would love a conservatory or a safe outdoor space where she could take in a bit of sunshine. She enjoys gentle strokes and just needs a patient carer to build up rapport with her.
Are you that special person who could take on an older lady looking for a peaceful home?
