Children from a school in Wigton have received royal correspondence on behalf of the Queen.
Pupils at Bowness-on-Solway Primary School near Wigton got written back to on behalf of Her Majesty.
They sent letters and pictures to celebrate the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee.
Teacher Diane Misselbrook said: "The children have been studying monarchs throughout the ages. They came up with their own recipes for a juice drink to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee and sent them to Buckingham Palace."
Lady-in-Waiting Richenda Elton remarked: "The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for the letters and pictures you sent to Her Majesty."
The children are also looking forward to a royal garden party which they have planned to mark the occasion.
