POLICE are investigating an afternoon assault outside a pub in Penrith on April 24.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Constabulary said 'a number of males' assaulted the man in his thirties outside the Grey Goat Public house in Penrith, leaving the victim with minor injuries to his face and head.
"Police are investigating an assault which occurred between 2:25pm and 2:45pm on Sunday, April 24 2022 in the cutting at the side of the Grey Goat Public House, Sandgate, Penrith.
"It is reported a number of males assaulted the victim a man in his 30s causing minor injuries to the victim’s face and head.
