A community hub will be welcoming a local band to perform at its venue.
The Hallbankgate Hub, located in Hallbankgate which is near Brampton, will be the host of a night of music by the Talkin Fellas.
The Talkin Fellas have been described as a folk trio that writes original songs about the landscapes, characters and natural history of Cumbria.
They are gaining a reputation for gracing festivals in the northwest with their wonderful harmonies and solid tunes with a strong flavour of the Cumbrian landscape.
Their music blends guitar, ukulele and banjo with rich vocal harmonies to create a varied repertoire that includes haunting ballads and lively foot stomping tunes.
Their music is influenced by a whole range of home grown and international artists including Vent du Nord, Old Man Ludeke, James Hill and Roy Bailey.
This event will be a fundraising event for the Hub.
The Hub is a shop, but it is much more than that, as those that run it often describe it as a place to shop, eat, meet and relax.
The hub has been at the heart of Hallbankgate for over 140 years.
The band will perform on Saturday, May 14, at 7:30 pm.
For tickets, which cost £6.00 in advance, £8.00 on the door, or £3.00 for children under 16, click here.
