The team, Maryport Rescue, are a totally independent lifeboat, search and rescue team.
They will be putting this fun day on in association with Maryport Yachting Association later this year to help raise funds to keep the service afloat and promote a vital lifesaving service.
The lifeboat organisation has charitable status and maintains marine and flood response capability to the Solway Firth, Cumbria and surrounding areas.
The team maintains a lifeboat, flood boat and Blue light capability as well.
They rely on donations from members of the public and local businesses to stay afloat and have been established now for over 35 years and rescued many people throughout the years.
