A low-flying aircraft was spotted flying over Carlisle's residential area yesterday afternoon (May 12).
The Royal Air Force A400 was spotted flying over Dalston at 3:30pm by local resident Helen Hardon as it was spanning over the area as part of a training exercise.
"I heard it coming before I could see it. I got up to see what kind of plane it was and snapped it on my phone.
"The sound from it was amazing," she said.
